Inflammation is the body’s reaction to infection and injury. It is characterized by redness, swelling, warmth, and pain. Inflammation is an immune system response that allows the body to contain and fight infection or repair damaged tissue by dilating the blood vessels and allowing vascular permeability to increase blood supply to an injured or infected tissue. While a certain amount of inflammation can be beneficial in fighting disease and healing injuries, too much inflammation or chronic inflammation can actually be debilitating.

Recommendation:

Frankincense, Soothing Blend, Melaleuca, Eucalyptus, Cardamom

Massage oil gently on location. Combine with carrier oil, and massage on location.

Simple Solutions:

Mix 3 drops frankincense and 2 drops lavender in a bowl of cold water. Dampen a washcloth with the water, and hold on location for 15–30 minutes.
