Heatstroke is when the body’s temperature rises dangerously high due to the body’s inability to dissipate heat, typically because of high environmental temperatures and high levels of exertion. If not corrected, the body can overheat too much, causing organs and body systems to become damaged and possibly shut down—possibly leading to death. Symptoms of heatstroke include perspiration, dizziness, confusion, headaches, and nausea.

Recommendation:

Peppermint

Place on neck and forehead. Cool the body as soon as possible in a cool bathtub or with soaked linens

Simple Solutions:

Get to cooler location, and remove any excess clothing. Add 2 drops peppermint to cool water in a bowl, and use to sponge down body. Seek medical attention as soon as possible
