Dysentery is severe, frequent diarrhea, often with blood or mucus, that occurs due to infection by bacteria or amoeba. Dysentery can be fatal due to dehydration if left untreated. See Digestive System:Diarrhea for information on rehydrating the body.


Myrrh, Eucalyptus, Lemon, Roman Chamomile

Dilute as recommended, and apply on abdomen and on bottoms of feet.

Simple Solutions:

Blend 3 drops peppermint and 2 drops myrrh with 1 tsp. (5 ml) fractionated coconut oil, and apply on stomach. Use rehydration solution (see above), and seek medical attention.
